Review:
I'm not the biggest fans of books like this, and if I'm being honest, preferred Siddhartha, in terms of allegories involving dreams and quests towards self fulfillment. I am glad I read this (and would have to at some point for the PBS Great American Reads challenge I've been working on the past few years) but wouldn't necessarily want to read it again.
Overall, it's a quick read and the writing is very good so I would definitely pick up a copy. If this type of fiction is your thing I'm sure you'll love it. :)
Recommendation:
For fans of a heroes quest:
*Siddhartha by Hermann Hesse
*The Odyssey by Homer
"I'm proud of the scars in my soul. They remind me that I have an intense life."
